You have the power to get Christian Maxwell on the ballot!

Join our grassroots army. Host a signature party, walk your block, rally your neighbors—and help us meet the petition deadline so Illinois’ 1st District has a real choice in November.

Why Your Signature Mission Matters?

Illinois requires candidates to collect a set number of valid signatures from registered voters in their district just to earn a spot on the ballot. Without your help, we won’t even get the chance to fight for property-tax relief, school funding, and public safety.

No signatures = no campaign. No campaign = no change. Let’s fix that—right now.

How the Ballot Petition Works

(Simple, Step-by-Step)

  1. Download & Print the Petition
We’ll send you the official form—pre-filled with our candidate info.

  2. Gather Signatures
Only registered voters in CD-1 can sign. Each signer must:

    • Fill in name & address exactly as on their voter ID

    • Include date and precinct

    • Sign in front of a witness (we’ll show you how)

  3. Witness & Verify
You or a trained volunteer witnesses each signature, certifies the sheet, and dates it.

  4. We’ll submit to Election Board
Drop completed sheets at our secure drop-off or schedule a pick-up by our team.

  5. Repeat Until We’re Over the Goal
We need a buffer—so we aim for 50% more than the minimum to guard against invalid signatures.

“It’s not rocket science—it’s grassroots democracy. And yes, you can do this!”

Filing Deadline:
Sunday, November 3, 2025

Last day for established‐party candidates (including congressional hopefuls) to submit their completed petition packets to the Illinois State Board of Elections or their county clerk’s office.

  • Host a Signature Party | Invite friends over, we’ll supply petitions and step-by-step guides. Serve snacks, sign sheets, and get our next precinct covered in one evening.

  • Walk Your Block | Hit the sidewalks—knock doors with petition sheets in hand. We’ll provide training, walking maps, and clipboard kits.

  • Rally Your Family | Every registered voter in your household can sign. Get grandma, the teens, siblings—max out every family form with a single click.

  • Organize a Church Drive | After service or at a community event, we’ll train your team to gather signatures from fellow parishioners.
